Let's Get Acquainted
My name is Laura. Nickname: La La. I am a registered nurse, new author, average triathlete, active person who is trading in the chill, outdoor vibes of Chattanooga, Tennessee for the big city of Los Angeles, California. I am probably one of the least compatible people with LA from the standpoint of:
1) I am not a huge fan of big cities
2) I like seasons
3) I hate traffic
4) I have never seen an episode of the Kardashians and am pretty disconnected from most TV/Movies/Pop culture
I did however go and have to get engaged to someone who lives out there so, California, here I come.
I am using this website/blog to record my adventure, mis-adventures and everything in between in what is hopefully a hilarious acclimation to La La Land. Join me and laugh a little along the way. You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram. Those links are on the home page.
